I don't think they send anything to your email because I ordered a random steam key and didn't get sent it by email. (Yes I know how to find the code on the site and I used it) Is it stopping you from being able to do anything? I don't think the email verification lets you do anything more than if you aren't verified.

Check your spam and trash folder.If you accidentally deleted it,it should be there unless you removed it from there too.Check your primary again and try to see the date on which you signed up with designated with the email.
